Red Currant Smoothie

This smoothie with ICONS red currants is a refreshing and healthy start of your day!


240 g red currants
1 ripe banana
3 tablespoons red currant syrup
240 ml (low-fat) yoghurt
honey or sugar (optional)
ice cubes


Remove the berries from the stem. This is easily done using a fork.

Rinse the currants clean in a sieve with cold running water.

Place the red currants, peeled banana, syrup and yogurt in a blender and blend to a smooth consistency.

Add any sweetener if you feel it’s necessary.

Add the ice cubes, blend and serve.

Garnish the smoothie with some red currants.
